Renaissance Hotel, Dubai

Bond, well known for skilled workmanship and quality, was able to successfully execute the renovation of the Renaissance Hotel, Dubai. The hotel was given an interior facelift which begins right from the reception lobby. The escalators were clad in rich rosewood veneer that brilliantly complements the custom designed reception counter along with the furniture and accessories manufactured. The accessories, well harmonized by Bond, also include the stylish chandeliers that hang off the ceiling of the double height area. The lounge has been well lit with fabric drum lights that become a feature by itself with the crystal beads that surround each light. The placement of these lights in a straight array definitely delivers an impact and has been used consistently in other areas of the hotel as well. Bond’s expertise in intricate wood work is evident in the fret-cut teakwood mashrabiya panels featured in the ballroom as well as in the ballroom lobby. The panels in the lobby are larger in scale with back lighting while the ones in the ballroom are more intricate in design with mirror backing. This project, lines out Bond’s quality as the targeted ambience was achieved to the satisfaction of the client.
