Engineering & construction drawings clearly defining the specific design requirements of a project, is prepared by Bond’s Technical Division in accordance with standardized conventions for layout, nomenclature, interpretation, appearance, size, etc. The team also prepares shop drawings that are required for pre-fabricated design components. Shop drawings are prepared based on the information shown in the design drawings and shows a lot more detail than the design drawings and specification documents. It explains the fabrication and installation of the items to the manufacturer’s production crew or contractor's installation crews. Dimensions, manufacturing conventions, and special fabrication instructions are also included on the shop drawings making it clear to the fabrication personnel as to how & what will be manufactured from the shop drawings alone. Close coordination with the production to monitor the development stages of the items manufactured, are also managed by this division.
